- Greater patience, feeling freer and with more inner peace, rather than always thinking about the future

We are ourselves an example of career change so have first hand experience of the issues. Rachel Brushfield who runs Energise started her career in marketing, then moved to the consultancy/agency side working in design, then advertising and then innovation before setting up Energise doing freelance and contract work. We then trained as a coach over 2 years and switched the focus of our offer over time from marketing services and brands to helping people think through who they are, what they want and how to get it, doing a mixture of life, career and executive coaching.
Then in 2008 we took 6 months out to refocus our business and specialise in career strategy and developed a new area - talent management, using our skills and experience from our marketing and agency days in a new context - human capital.
Probably our most contrasting career change example is Jon Green who is a pastor for young people at Methodist Hall, Westminster, London. We helped Jon work smarter so he could free up time to pursue his passion for song writing and creating songs to motivate and inspire people around the world. Currently Jon combines both passions with a portfolio career, God and Music, and with a young son, he is reaping the benefits of the systems, processes and clear priorities we identified. Jon won a national UK song competition in 2009 coming first out of 250 entries. Well done Jon! Now there's talent liberation in action!
